We’re definitely just a few days away from the 2021 Xiaomi tablet PC’s release, as this new tablet was certified by the FCC today, implying that an international model will be released alongside a local Chinese variant. Xiaomi began soliciting specifications and feature suggestions for the Xiaomi tablet in February of this year, so Xiaomi’s new tablet should have broad appeal.
We’ve previously seen a couple of good and solid leaks of this Xiaomi tablet, so we know what to anticipate. However, today’s FCC approval verified a few more specifics. The major specifications are said to be an 11-inch screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 12MP back camera, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor.
Official specifications listed on the test unit were MIUI 12.5 with dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (SISO/MIMO), Bluetooth 5.1, it was tested with the keyboard and stylus seen in the CAD files, and it features proximity sensors that reduce the power of the Wi-Fi in specific parts of the tablet whenever that part of the tablet is held by a hand in order to reduce SAR exposure to the user.
