Motorola Moto G22 With Helio G37 SoC, 90Hz Display Launched

On March 3, the Motorola Moto G22 was quietly released in Europe. Motorola’s latest pocket-friendly smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, a PowerVR GE8320 GPU, and 4GB of RAM. The Moto G22 has a 6.5-inch HD+ MaxVision LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Motorola smartphone has a quad-camera arrangement on the back, led by a 50-megapixel main sensor. The Moto G22 features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 5,000mAh battery that is expected to last more than a day.

The Moto G22 is priced at EUR 169.99 for the single 4GB + 64GB storage configuration. It is available for purchase in a few European countries. Motorola said the smartphone will be available in India, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East in “the coming weeks.” The new Motorola smartphone comes in three colors: Cosmic Black, Iceberg Blue, and Pearl White.

The Motorola Moto G22 smartphone was released on March 3, 2022. The phone has a 6.53-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels, a pixel density of 268 pixels per inch (ppi), and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The Motorola Moto G22 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 octa-core CPU. It includes 4GB of RAM. The Motorola Moto G22 is powered by a 5000mAh non-removable battery and runs Android 12. The Motorola Moto G22 is compatible with patented fast charging.

On the back, the Motorola Moto G22 has a quad-camera arrangement that includes a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel camera with an f/2.4 aperture. It sports a single front-facing camera with a 16-megapixel sensor and an f/2.45 aperture for selfies. The front-facing camera has autofocus as well.

The Motorola Moto G22 runs MyUX and is powered by Android 12. It has 64GB of internal storage that can be increased with a microSD card (up to 1000GB). The Motorola Moto G22 weighs 185.00 grams and measures 163.95 x 74.94 x 8.49mm (height x width x thickness). It was available in Cosmic Black, Iceberg Blue, and Pearl White.

Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, and USB Type-C are among the connectivity choices for the Motorola Moto G22. The phone’s sensors include an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a compass/magnetometer, a gyroscope, a proximity sensor, and a fingerprint sensor. Face unlock is supported on the Motorola Moto G22.
