Nokia has leased its brand once more, but this time for a new series of laptop computers. Nokia PureBook Pro notebooks will be manufactured and distributed by OFF Global for the Finnish tech giant. The first items to enter the market will be the Nokia PureBook Pro 17.3 and Nokia PureBook Pro 15.6. Both laptops will be powered by 12th-generation Intel Core i3 CPUs with 8GB of RAM. Nokia PureBook Pro notebooks will also come pre-installed with Windows 11.
Nokia PureBook Pro 17.3, Nokia PureBook Pro 15.6 price
The Nokia PureBook Pro 17.3 starts at EUR 799, while the Nokia PureBook Pro 15.6 starts at EUR 699. Both Nokia laptops will come on the market in the second quarter of 2022. Both are available in four different colors: Blue, Dark Grey, Red, and Silver. Other versions in the series will be offered later this year, according to OFF Global.
OFF Global, on the other hand, will not be the licensee for Nokia laptops in India. More information about this is still to emerge. The laptops will be distributed in phases to other locations.
Nokia PureBook Pro 17.3, Nokia PureBook Pro 15.6 features
There are two display options for the Nokia PureBook Pro series. The first features a 17.3-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080 pixel) IPS display. The other has a 15.6-inch full-HD (1,920×1,080) display. The panels in both models offer 60Hz refresh rates and a max brightness of 250 nits.
The similarities between the two Nokia PureBook Pro models extend under the hood, as both are powered by a 12th-generation Intel ‘Alder Lake’ Core i3-1220P CPU combined with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD. There is no mention of a built-in GPU.
Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5, two USB Type C 3.2 ports, a USB Type-A 3.3 port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack are among the connectivity choices for the Nokia PureBook Pro. Both are equipped with a 2-megapixel webcam and four 1W speakers. Both laptops include a fingerprint scanner with Windows Hello functionality and come pre-installed with Windows 11. While the 17.3-inch model includes a complete keyboard with a numeric keypad, the 15.6-inch model does not. Both come with a lighted keyboard and a touchpad.
The Nokia PureBook Pro 17.3 comes with a 63Whr battery, while the 15.6-inch model comes with a 57Whr battery. Both devices enable 65W rapid charging. The 17.3-inch model has dimensions of 399x260x19.6mm and weighs 2.5 kilos, while the Nokia PureBook Pro 15.6 has dimensions of 358x237x19.05mm and weighs 1.7 kilograms.
