Oppo Pad, the first tablet from the brand, has been launched for the Chinese market. The tablet comes in Black and Purple color options and resembles the Apple iPad in design. The Pad is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 SoC and comes equipped with an 11-inch LCD screen that has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The tablet also supports Oppo Pencil, a proprietary stylus developed by the Chinese brand that will be shipped along with the Oppo Pad.

The Oppo Pad will go on sale in China at 10 am (7:30 am IST) on March 3. Its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at CNY 2,299, while the 6GB + 256GB comes at CNY 2,699. The Pad’s 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 2,999. The tablet is offered in two color options — Black and Purple. The Purple color variant is treated with a large-area flash sand process in order to prevent fingerprints on the back.
The company also launched the Pad Artist Edition with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at CNY 3,499. Oppo Pad Artist edition carries a custom two-tone metallic Silver finish including special patterns and engraving on the top side of the back panel.

The tablet comes with a 10.95-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1600×2560 pixels at a pixel density of 275 pixels per inch (ppi). The Pad is powered by an octa-core processor. It comes with 6GB of RAM. The Oppo Pad runs Android 11 and is powered by an 8,360mAh non-removable battery.
The Pad on the rear packs a 13-megapixel camera. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
The Pad runs ColorOS 12 is based on Android 11 and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The pad measures 252.20 x 163.80 x 7.00mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 510.00 grams. It was launched in Black, Purple, and Silver colors.
Connectivity options on the Pad include USB Type-C and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac.
